Welcome to BVECCS (Brisbane Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Service)

BVECCS is a 24 hour Emergency Vet Clinic on Brisbane’s northside for after hours emergency vet services.  We are dedicated to and experienced in providing quality patient and client care.

We are fully staffed all night, all weekend and all public holidays. You can rest assured that your pet will get all the medical attention and TLC that they deserve-regardless of the time.  BVECCS is your 24 hour vet clinic, so we are open when your vet is not.

Emergency Vet Brisbane Northside

Situated in Albany Creek, Brisbane Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Service provides an after hours vet service (24 hours Saturday and Sunday and all night Monday to Friday) for the north Brisbane area, including the Sunshine Coast.

Staffed 24/7 with a team of experienced emergency vets and nurses, we are here for your pets when they need help most.

From medical emergencies, severe trauma, toxin exposure or assistance when giving birth, we are set-up and prepared, ready to assist you with any emergency situation.

With a combined emergency experience of greater than 200 years, our team of vets and nurses are devoted exclusively to caring for pets requiring emergency after hours vet care.  You will have peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving the best of care at Brisbane Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Services.

24 Hour Vet – No Appointment Necessary

As we are an emergency veterinary hospital you don’t need to make an appointment.  You are welcome to bring your pet directly to our 24 hr after hour veterinary hospital in north Brisbane for attention.  The BVECCS trained  staff will assist your pet from the vehicle if needed and they will be assessed immediately.

It is of utmost importance to us that you, your pet and your family are in comfortable surroundings, receiving all possible information. All staff at our vet hospital are here to help through this difficult time.

Signs Your Pet Many Need Emergency Care

It may be time to contact us here at Brisbane Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Services if your pet shows some of these simple signs; vomiting, no appetite, lethargy and breathing difficulties etc. If you think that your dog or cat needs urgent attention, just call us – we can talk you through your pet’s situation, and understand what needs to be done first.  It’s always worth checking.

Lyndal graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 1987 and spent 5 years in general practice in Brisbane before moving to Sydney to embark upon her emergency career.

Lisa continues to be passionate about Emergency Medicine & Critical Care with a particular interest in trauma & shock, fluid therapy, & tick paralysis.

Cheryl worked with wildlife in Thailand and South-East Asia in 2005. Cheryl was employed to teach veterinary students in anaesthetic practice at the University of Sydney.
